2 x International Dog Show, Poznań 5-6.11.2022

We spent the first weekend of November very busy. During these days, on the grounds of the Poznań International Fair, the Polish Kennel Club branch in Poznań organized 2 international dog shows.
60 years ago on October 21, 1962
the first in Poland was organized in Poznań
International Dog Show under the patronage of FCI. At that time, 480 dogs from 54 breeds were entered for the exhibition, there were no Golden Retrievers among them. This year, a much larger number of man’s best friends were entered into the competition. Every day, over 3,000 beautiful quadrupeds were assessed, and Golden Retrievers were by far the most numerous group.

On the first day, 85 were in the competition, and on the second, as many as 93 Goldens. Two judges from Sweden were responsible for choosing the most beautiful one. On Saturday judge Sjoerd Jobse (SE) was judging in the ring and judge Henric Fryckstrand (SE) on Sunday. We presented Arya // PURPLE PAPAYA Bloomingen Gold (FCI), who started in open class. Arya, despite great performances, did not manage to get on the podium.
